Review: Usher's new album- It ain't Confessions yall!
There has been huge anticipation for Usher's new album "Here I Stand". Could it beat his last effort "Confessions"? How has marriage and fatherhood affected his music? Had wife Tameka Foster sunk her claws into Usher and ruined his music?
After weeks of leaking, all 18 tracks of "Here I Stand" are finally available. All in all, the album falls flat. Minus a few gems: "Love in the Club" (and the hot remix with Beyonce and Lil Wayne) and the second single "This Ain't Sex", the album is full of lackluster midtempo tracks. Even the collaboration "Best Thing" with Jay-Z (which some speculate is an ode to new wifey Beyonce) doesn't do much to contribute. Usher's voice is as rich as it ever was, but the lyrical and production choices on "Here I Stand" leave a lot to be desired.

Twitter is essentially a stalker's paradise. As this instructional video shows, Twitter consists of those moments you share with your friends IN-BETWEEN the usual texts/blog posts/emails/phone calls you already have. Think information like "oh I ate a bagel for breakfast" or "man is it windy outside"; stupid, insipid stuff. Add Twitter to the glut of social networks that some weirdo, somewhere is using. If I ain't calling/texting/blogging/emailing you, then those "special moments" are none of yo damn business anyways!

Hip Hop Continues to Die: Plies feat. Ne-Yo
Plies and Ne-Yo continue to kill hip hop with their new video Bust it Baby part 2. Apparently music executives think that signing talentless fuggly rappers and pairing them with R&B singers is the way to save the music industry. Another ode to the skrippers in the building.
Mariah Carey Cannon (hold your vomiting please)
I have always given Mariah Carey the benefit of the doubt. Even after the Rainbow album, even after the comedy Glitter tanked, even after her infamous breakdown I always thought Mariah had SOME SENSE in her. Well, girlfriend has officially gone off the deep end and has MARRIED resident film/tv goofball Nick Cannon. The two lovebirds (he's twentysomething and she's damn near 40) ran off to the Bahamas and got hitched. Now everyone from "close family friends" to Jacob the Jeweler (I thought he was in jail?) are confirming the nuptials and Carey's jaw-dropping 17-carat wedding ring.
Carey has had a stormy romantic past including music svengali Tommy Mottola, NY Yankee Derek Jeter, and Latin crooner Luis Miguel. Cannon has been linked to such classy beauties as sex tape vixen Kim Kardashian and Victoria Secret model Selita Ebanks. Selita and Nick were engaged just a year ago... Revenge anyone?

Diddy Gets Star on Walk of Fame
In other news, Diddy continues his path to world domination. Last week he got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Most people work on SEVERAL movies and theatre productions, but I guess Puff has never been one to fall victim to convention.
He was joined by his baby mama Kim Porter and the little junior Diddies: Quincy, Justin, Christian, D Lilah, and Jesse (phew)

Is Mark Zuckerberg the smartest man/kid in the world? The answer: YES. The Facebook's new Chat feature allows users to chat with their friends a la AOL's Instant Messenger. Now, for those WITH AIM, they might not see the value in the Chat. But as someone who has worked in offices that BLOCK AOL, GMAIL, and other forms of outside communication to torture their employees....this is a FREAKING Godsend. ALL HAIL MARK ZUCKERBERG... All Facebook needs now is an in-built latte machine and a food dispenser and I'll never leave it.

House arrest done TI good. Although he's facing a good year in jail time for federal weapons charges, TIP keeps cranking out th e hits.
